|
Located at 11,000 Road GG.5, this center is a private non-profit corporation, formed in 1977 and licensed by the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Division (ADAD), Colorado Department of Human Services to provide alcohol/drug treatment services. These treatment programs are partially funded via contracted services per episode with managed care entities (MSO's) in the State of Colorado. Other sources of funding originate from the collection of client fees, donations from cities and counties in the service area, grants, donations from private or public organizations, and individual donations. Client fees are determined with the use of a sliding scale based on income and number of dependents. To promote accessibility to a variety of treatment programs for residents of our six county service area we offer a Residential Treatment program, a Detoxification program, and Outpatient Services. Services are provided regardless of a person's race, sex, religious or political orientation, and physical or mental disability. No person will be denied access to services for their inability to pay fees. However, services may be denied for client refusal to pay fees when assessed as having the capability to pay. DETOXIFICATION This modality is a non-medical residential program offering Acute care in a safe environment for detoxification of the person who is incapacitated or intoxicated from the use of alcohol or drugs or is undergoing mild to moderate withdrawal. The client will be provided evaluation/assessment, and motivational counseling in an attempt to encourage the client to participate in a regimen of on-going treatment. Acute care is available on a 24-hour, seven days a week basis for male and female clients age 13 years and older. The length of stay in this program ranges from 1-5 days based on assessment of withdrawal symptoms and/or other complications related to the individual. Non-acute care services, to a maximum of 8 hours per stay, are available for male and female adolescents 13 to 17 years of age. RESIDENTIAL TREATMENT This modality involves highly supervised living arrangements on site while the client participates in a concentrated treatment program. The program is 30 days in length and is available to male and female adults, ages 18 years and older. Daily structured activities include alcohol and drug education, individual counseling, group therapy, evaluation/differential assessment, social/life skills training, and development of aftercare support system specific to the client. OUTPATIENT TREATMENT Outpatient services may be the entry point into treatment for the client. Or it may be a continuation of treatment for a client who has completed a Residential Treatment program. This modality offers alcohol/drug education, evaluation, individual counseling, group therapy and referral to and/or coordination with other service agencies. This is a non-residential program available for male and female clients, age 13 years and older. The level of treatment services and the length of stay in the program are determined by the assessed needs of the client.
