McClave is an unincorporated, compact
community situated on approximately 33 acres of land in northeast
Bent County. The existing land uses in McClave are residential single
family homes, a church, bank, general store, garage, two hay mills,
a town park with tennis courts, and the McClave Elementary, Middle
and High School.
Ambulance
The Hasty-McClave volunteer ambulance service
has ambulance barns located in Hasty and McClave.
City Park
McClave has a 2.75 acre city park located at
SH 196, between First Street and the railroad tracks. The McClave
Park has picnic tables, a basketball court and tennis courts.
Playing Fields
McClave has a 6.3 acre ballfield and basketball
courts at the McClave High School. Hasty also has a ballfield.
Playgrounds
In McClave, a 1.3 acre playground is located
at SH 196 and Third Street.
